Developmental Pass - $28
per 1,000 words
Services include a comprehensive edit letter with feedback on structure, character development, plot, voice, pace/tension, and style. Also includes some in-margin comments. This is one pass, or one 3-5 week review of your completed manuscript.
Manuscript Review - $800
up to 80,000 words
This service is for those who want a broad manuscript assessment identifying structural issues, readability, and plot. This is not as in-depth as a developmental pass. For seasoned authors, please contact me to customize this top-level review. Customization includes word choice, dialogue, and style.
For manuscripts over 80k words, rates are $23/1000 words up to 130, 000 words.
Sensitivity Reading
Picture books-Adult - $150
and up

Nonfiction Proposal Review - $300+
Middle grade - adult proposals. Includes a comprehensive edit letter and in-margin comments as needed. Final price dependent on word count.
Book/Project Consultation - $70
per hour
